Sponsored Walk on Saturday, 27th May

There was a good turnout of congregation members and friends for our Fundraising Sponsored Walk. The weather was lovely as we set off from the Church for a walk around the town.

The walk was very enjoyable as most people chatted as they walked.  We then returned to the Church for a cup of tea and a bacon roll. Some completed the route twice and some even three times.

The final amount raised was the wonderful sum of £2,363.00. But more importantly, this was another great event which brought us together, young and old, whle raising valuable funds for our Church.

Members and friends of Armadale Parish Church gathered at the Masonic Hall for a wonderful Scottish themed concert. Gavin MacDonald was our MC for the evening and entertained us with his excellent singing and humour.

Rebecca Hislop and Julia Wiley sang a selection of traditional songs which were beautifully performed.

Two talented young ladies, Hannah and Ashley Stewart brought a breath of fresh air to the show playing fiddle, guitar and piano. They treated us to a selection of traditional and modern music and song.
