1. Welcome and Intimations

  2. Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

    Our Father, who art in heaven,
    hallowed be thy name;
    thy kingdom come;
    thy will be done;
    on earth as it is in heaven.
    Give us this day our daily bread.
    And forgive us our trespasses,
    as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    And lead us not into temptation;
    but deliver us from evil.
    For thine is the kingdom,
    the power, and the glory
    for ever and ever.
    Amen.

  3. CH4 137 All Things Bright and Beautiful

    1. All things bright and beautiful,
      all creatures great and small,
      all things wise and wonderful,
      the Lord God made them all.

    2. Each little flow’r that opens,
      each little bird that sings,
      He made their glowing colors,
      He made their tiny wings.

      All things bright and beautiful,
      all creatures great and small,
      all things wise and wonderful,
      the Lord God made them all.

    3. The purple-headed mountain,
      the river running by,
      the sunset, and the morning
      that brightens up the sky;

      All things bright and beautiful,
      all creatures great and small,
      all things wise and wonderful,
      the Lord God made them all.

    4. The cold wind in the winter,
      the pleasant summer sun,
      the ripe fruits in the garden,
      He made them, ev’ry one.

      All things bright and beautiful,
      all creatures great and small,
      all things wise and wonderful,
      the Lord God made them all.

    5. He gave us eyes to see them,
      and lips that we might tell
      how great is God Almighty,
      who has made all things well.

      All things bright and beautiful,
      all creatures great and small,
      all things wise and wonderful,
      the Lord God made them all.

  4. CH4 605 Thanks to God Whose Word Was Spoken

    1. Thanks to God whose Word was spoken
      in the deed that made the earth.
      His the voice that called a nation;
      his the fires that tried her worth.
      God has spoken:
      praise to God for the open Word.

    2. Thanks to God whose Word Incarnate
      heights and depths of life did share.
      Deeds and words and death and rising,
      grace in human form declare.
      God has spoken:
      praise to God for the open Word.

    3. Thanks to God whose Word was written
      in the Bible's sacred page,
      record of the revelation
      showing God to every age.
      God has spoken:
      praise to God for the open Word.

    4. Thanks to God whose Word is published
      in the tongues of every race.
      See its glory undiminished
      by the change of time or place.
      God has spoken:
      praise to God for the open Word.

    5. Thanks to God whose Word is answered
      by the Spirit's voice within.
      Here we drink of joy unmeasured,
      life redeemed from death and sin.
      God is speaking:
      praise to God for the open Word.

  6. CH4 566 When I Receive the Peace of Christ

    1. When I receive the peace of Christ
      my loneliness shall end;
      and I must reach a hand and take
      my brother as a friend —
      my brother as a friend indeed
      who has an honoured place
      where he may stand before the Lord
      in dignity and grace.

    2. When I receive the peace of Christ
      my loneliness shall end;
      and I must reach a hand and take
      my sister as a friend —
      my sister as a friend indeed
      who has an honoured place
      where she may stand before the Lord
      in dignity and grace.

    3. When I receive the peace of Christ
      my loneliness shall end;
      and I must reach a hand and take
      my own self as a friend —
      my own self as a friend indeed
      who has an honoured place
      where I may stand before the Lord
      in dignity and grace.

    4. When I receive the peace of Christ
      my loneliness shall end;
      and I must reach a hand and take
      Christ Jesus as a friend —
      Christ Jesus as a friend indeed
      who has an honoured place
      where now he stands among us all
      in dignity and grace.

  9. CH4 646 Forth in the Peace of Christ We Go

    1. Forth in the peace of Christ we go
      Christ to the world with joy we bring
      Christ in our minds, Christ on our lips,
      Christ in our hearts, the world's true King.

    2. King of our hearts, Christ makes us kings
      kingship with him his servants gain
      with Christ, the Servant-Lord of all,
      Christ's world we serve, to share Christ's reign.

    3. Priests of the world, Christ sends us forth
      the world of time to consecrate,
      the world of sin by grace to heal,
      Christ's world in Christ to recreate.

    4. Prophets of Christ, we hear his Word:
      he claim our minds, to search his ways
      he claims our lips, to speak his truth
      he claims our hearts, to sing his praise.

    5. We are his Church, he makes us one:
      here is one hearth for all to find
      here is one flock, one Shepherd-King
      here is one faith, one heart, one mind.
