1. Welcome and Intimations

  2. Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

    Our Father, who art in heaven,
    hallowed be thy name;
    thy kingdom come;
    thy will be done;
    on earth as it is in heaven.
    Give us this day our daily bread.
    And forgive us our trespasses,
    as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    And lead us not into temptation;
    but deliver us from evil.
    For thine is the kingdom,
    the power, and the glory
    for ever and ever.
    Amen.

  3. CH4 146 From All That Dwell Below the Skies

    1. From all that dwell below the skies
      let the Creator’s praise arise:
      Alleluia! Alleluia!
      Let the Redeemer’s name be sung
      through every land, by every tongue:
      Alleluia, Alleluia,
      Alleluia, Alleluia,
      Alleluia!

    2. Eternal are your mercies, Lord;
      and eternal truth attends your word:
      Alleluia! Alleluia!
      Your praise shall sound from shore to shore
      till suns rise and set no more:
      Alleluia, Alleluia,
      Alleluia, Alleluia,
      Alleluia!

    1. Psalm 19
    2. I Corinthians 1:18-25

  4. CH4 602 Is It Spooky? Is It Weird?

    1. God speaks through words in the Bible,
      through other people too;
      and shows us the right way we should live,
      in what we say and do. Oh...

      Is it spooky, is it weird
      that God wants to talk to you and me?
      Is it something to be feared?
      No! God wants the best for you and me!

    2. He gives the Holy Spirit,
      to help us all to see,
      through people, words and pictures,
      his truth for you and me. Oh...

      Is it spooky, is it weird
      that God wants to talk to you and me?
      Is it something to be feared?
      No! God wants the best for you and me!

    3. Now we should learn to listen
      to all that God would say,
      and act on what we think he’s said,
      so listen and obey. Oh...

      Is it spooky, is it weird
      that God wants to talk to you and me?
      Is it something to be feared?
      No! God wants the best for you and me!

  6. Known Unknowns 75 The Time Has Come, When from the Past

    1. The time has come, when from the past,
      prophetic words ring true at last;
      though earth’s hostilities increase,
      God’s promise is of lasting peace.

      Hallelujah! Prepare the way.
      Hear what God’s chosen prophets say.

    2. The time has come to make it known
      that every tear and pain and groan
      are registered in heaven above
      to be redeemed by holy love.

      Hallelujah! Prepare the way.
      Only Love lifts us from dismay.

    3. The time has come to make amends:
      earth and its people should be friends.
      Erase the policies of death,
      spread hope with every vital breath.

      Hallelujah! Prepare the way.
      God gladly comes to earth to stay.

    4. The time has come to share good news,
      to sweep the floor and mend the shoes,
      prepare to protest, praise and dance
      for God is eager to advance.

      Hallelujah! Expect a birth:
      God’s gracious feet will touch the earth.

  9. CH4 397 In the Cross of Christ I Glory

    1. In the cross of Christ I glory,
      towering over the wrecks of time;
      all the light of sacred story
      gathers round its head sublime.

    2. When the woes of life overtake me,
      hopes deceive and fears annoy,
      never shall the cross forsake me;
      lo! it glows with peace and joy.

    3. When the sun of bliss is beaming
      light and love upon my way,
      from the cross the radiance streaming
      adds new lustre to the day.

    4. Bane and blessing, pain and pleasure,
      by the cross are sanctified;
      peace is there that knows no measure,
      joys that through all time abide.

    5. In the cross of Christ I glory,
      towering over the wrecks of time;
      all the light of sacred story
      gathers round its head sublime
