1. Welcome and Intimations

  2. Easter Litany

    This is the Good News – The grave is empty, Christ is risen.

    HALLELUJAH!

    This is the Good News –
    The light shines in the darkness,
    and the darkness can never put it out.

    HALLELUJAH!

    This is the Good News – Once we were no people, now we are God’s people.

    HALLELUJAH!

    Christ is our peace,
    the indestructible peace
    we now share with each other.

  3. Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

    Our Father, who art in heaven,
    hallowed be thy name;
    thy kingdom come;
    thy will be done;
    on earth as it is in heaven.
    Give us this day our daily bread.
    And forgive us our trespasses,
    as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    And lead us not into temptation;
    but deliver us from evil.
    For thine is the kingdom,
    the power, and the glory
    for ever and ever.
    Amen.

  4. CH4 410 Jesus Christ Is Risen Today

      our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!

      sinners to redeem and save, Alleluia!

    3. But the anguish he endured, Alleluia!
      our salvation have procured; Alleluia!
      now in heavèn Christ is King, Alleluia!
      where the angels ever sing, Alleluia!

  5. CH4 78 Oh, Set Ye Open Unto Me

    (Psalm 118)

    1. Oh, set ye open unto me
      the gates of righteousness;
      then will I enter into them,
      and I the Lord will bless.

    2. This is the gate of God, by it
      the just shall enter in.
      Thee will I praise, who answered me
      and hast my safety been.

    3. That stone is made head corner-stone,
      which builders did despise:
      this is the doing of the Lord,
      and wondrous in our eyes.

    4. This is the day God made, in it
      we'll joy triumphantly.
      Save now, I pray thee, Lord; I pray,
      send now prosperity.

    5. Thou art my God, I'll thee exalt;
      my God, I will thee praise.
      Give thanks to God, for he is good:
      his mercy lasts always.

  6. Message

  7. CH4 409 Jesus Is Risen, Alleluia!

    1. Jesus is risen, alleluia!
      Worship and praise him, alleluia!
      Now our redeemer bursts from the grave;
      lost to the tomb, Christ rises to save.

      Come, let us worship him,
      endlessly sing;
      Christ is alive and death loses its sting.
      Sins are forgiven, alleluia!
      Jesus is risen, alleluia!

    2. Buried for three days, destined for death,
      now he returns to breathe with our breath.
      Blest are the ears alert to his voice,
      blest are the hearts which for him rejoice.

      Come, let us worship him,
      endlessly sing;
      Christ is alive and death loses its sting.
      Sins are forgiven, alleluia!
      Jesus is risen, alleluia!

    3. ‘Don’t be afraid!’ the angel had said,
      ‘Why seek the living here with the dead?
      Look, where he lay, his body is gone,
      risen and vibrant, warm with the sun.’

      Come, let us worship him,
      endlessly sing;
      Christ is alive and death loses its sting.
      Sins are forgiven, alleluia!
      Jesus is risen, alleluia!

    4. ‘Go and tell others, Christ is alive.’
      Love is eternal, faith and hope thrive.
      What God intended, Jesus fulfilled;
      what God conceives can never be killed.

      Come, let us worship him,
      endlessly sing;
      Christ is alive and death loses its sting.
      Sins are forgiven, alleluia!
      Jesus is risen, alleluia!

    5. Let heaven echo, let the earth sing:
      Jesus is saviour of everything.
      All those who trust him, Christ will receive;
      therefore rejoice, obey and believe!

      Come, let us worship him,
      endlessly sing;
      Christ is alive and death loses its sting.
      Sins are forgiven, alleluia!
      Jesus is risen, alleluia!

  9. Prayer of Intercession

  10. O God, You Tell Us Of A Day

    1. O God, you tell us of a day when all will be made new —
      When former things will fade away from memory and view.
      Then all the earth will shout for joy at what you bring to birth,
      For by your grace, you'll bring about new heavens and new earth.

    2. No more shall weeping fill the streets or people know distress;
      Then infants will grow well and strong, and elders will be blessed.
      Then those who work to build their homes will live in them in peace,
      And all will eat the food they've grown and harvests will increase.

    3. When people labor hard each day, they will not work in vain;
      Their children won't be left to live in hopelessness and pain.
      Then wolf and lamb, now enemies, will meet and rest and graze;
      God's mountain will be one of peace, and joy will fill those days.

    4. O God when will this vision come — this world Isaiah saw
      When earth and heav'n will be as one, and love will be your law?
      May we see glimpses of your grace, and may we seek to be
      A church that gladly works to bring your new community.
